Through the studying of Ephesians, we learned that God through the victory of Jesus created a multi-ethnic gospel community. Now we are at the second half of Ephesians, we will see that when the followers of Jesus live in unity as one body of Christ, then the love and grace of God is displayed in their relationships with others: families and neighborhoods. The Gospel transforms human relationships.
In the upcoming mini series, we will use the Gospel as our blueprint to help us navigate the different types of relationships: singlehood, marriage, dating, family and work. We will discuss the practical applications: How does our relationship with God change our understanding of singleness? What is God’s purpose for marriage? How can we relate to the opposite gender in a healthy God-honouring way? How does God as Father change how believers understand family? How might faith transform the way parents and children relate to each other in different seasons of life? How can the Gospel empower us in our work relationships?
We will form life groups to support each other to grow in our various relationships through challenges, encouraging one another to live out God’s purposes and pointing each other towards experiencing its blessing and joys through faith. If you are interested, please sign up from the link below.
